CQB Level 1 at Mountain Readiness West

We will be having a CQB/Home Defense Level 1 July 21-23 at Camp Ponderosa, MT just prior to the Mountain Readiness Expo.

Course consists of one day of live fire skills with carbine and pistol, followed by two days of shoot-house work w/SIMs in the 10,000 sq ft training building.

Concepts covered include:

- Fast and accurate hits inside of 200yds with pistol and carbine.

- Target transitions for multiple threats.

- Fast target assessment with shoot/no-shoot drills.

- Use of cover & concealment.

- Working both solo and in small teams.

- Structure assessment and approach.

- Threshold/entry problems.

- Defensive considerations & strategies for home invasion.

- Clear and recovery drills.

- Force on force drills.
