      Gunfight Concepts - Pistol
          -- For the shooter looking to move beyond static target shooting. Will introduce the shooter to advanced weapon manipulation drills while under duress. Shooting while on the move, target discrimination, dealing with injuries in the middle of a fight and stress inoculation drills. This training is designed to get you way outside your "comfort zone" and exercise those critical skills needed to prevail in a lethal encounter.

     Gear Required:
* Semi-auto pistol (at least .380cal or greater)
* Three or more magazines
* Duty belt / Holster and at least two mag pouches
* Eye and ear protection
* Comfortable, durable clothing, change of clothes, towel
* Jacket and/or cover shirt
* Firearm maintenance gear (lube, tools, etc)
* Optional gear.....dump pouches, gloves, armor, knee pads, bandaids)

     Ammo:
* 400 rds (minimum)

     Cost:
* 250 a training day

      Gunfight Concepts - Carbine
          -- My goal with this course is to push the principals of Marksmanship, Manipulation and Maintenance mastery. We will work on proper equipment setup and applying marksmanship fundamentals while under stress. We will push outside the comfort zone and deal with some worst case scenarios. This is intended to be a very challenging course.

     Gear Requirements:
* AR/M4 style carbine (AK style is okay as well) w/optic and/or iron sights
* Six carbine mags
* Semi-auto pistol (.380cal or larger)
* Three pistol mags (or more)
* Plate carrier w/ at least three mag pouches, or Rhodesian style vest, or carbine mag pouches for belt rig
* Duty belt / holster w/ at least three pistol mag pouches
* Carbine sling (single point or double point)
* Eye and ear protection
* Firearm maintenance gear ( lube, tools, spare parts)
* Comfortable, durable clothing, change of clothes, towel
* Optional gear.....dump pouches, goggles, knee pads, gloves, etc

     Ammo:
* 500 rds carbine
* 100 rds pistol

     Cost:
* 250  a training day

     Hard Target Traveler


Course length: one day (8-10 hrs classroom, with combatives lab)
Required materials: comfortable clothing, note taking materials

A condensed course to prepare the western traveler for the potential hazards of foreign travel as well as threats on the homefront. Subjects covered include: Counter-surveillance, route planning, unarmed physical defense & improvised weapons, escape and evasion from unlawful custody, digital security and communications, medical and other trade-craft skills.
Course objectives:
By the end of this course students will be able to demonstrate the following:

Conduct useful information gathering on an area prior to arrival

- Identify trouble/danger areas using map study and OSINT

Identify indicators of human and digital surveillance

Prevent common vehicle attacks

Escape from common physical attacks and holds

Defend against blunt and edged weapon attacks

Render self and buddy aid in event of life threatening injury

Escape from various restraints

Setup and utilize secure communication channels

Setup an emergency cache and explain the different types

Treat/prevent various ailments and diseases with off-the-shelf remedies

Avoid and/or escape a riot or mob

Identify and explain safe houses and safe zones

      Gunfight Concepts - Pistol & Carbine
    
This course is designed to address firearm employment in a gunfight scenario as opposed to just square range shooting. Beginning with marksmanship fundamentals and progressing through various positional and shooting-on-the-move drills. The course is configured to enforce stress management and dynamic problem solving. Expect a moderately high level of physical exertion and discomfort.

Required Equipment: 
- AR/M4 style carbine (AK style is okay as well) w/optic and/or iron sights.
- Minimum six carbine magazines.
- Pistol with minimum three magazines.
- Plate carrier w/ at least three mag pouches, or Rhodesian style vest, or carbine mag pouches for belt rig.
- Duty belt & holster w/ at least two pistol mag pouches.
- Carbine sling (two-point preferred).
- Eye, ear protection and IFAK w/tourniquet.
- Firearm maintenance gear ( lube, tools, spare parts).
- Comfortable, durable clothing, change of clothes, towel.
- Jacket or cover shirt and gloves.

Ammunition:  500 rds carbine, 500 rds pistol (minimum)

     Kidnap Defense/ E&E ******updated*****
          -- So there you are, one minute enjoying the night life on the Vegas strip, the next.....waking up in the trunk of a car zip-tied, blind and in pain. This course will cover several aspects of recognizing and avoiding trouble before you step into it's clutches; and will further cover a multitude of techniques on escaping criminal custody and evading if you are pursued. This is not a shooting course....but teaches you to survive and ultimately prevail when everything possible has gone wrong. A must for anyone who travels and /or has concerns over their safety.
Due to overwhelming requests I am expanding this course to cover these additional topics:

* Anonymous communication techniques 
* Secure data storage and transmission
* Rule of Three's as it applies to SERE
* Computer and phone hardening
* Secure phones
* Basics of cryptography 
* Urban route planning
* Cache and Go-bag setup and utilization

* Weather appropriate clothing, change of clothes, towel
* Notepad, pen
* Go-Bag
* Large trash bags
* Laptop
* Cheap thumbdrive (4gb) and MicroSD card
* Multi-tool/Leatherman
* The more various duffel bags, backpacks and changes of clothes - the better
* A good attitude........this can be a very stressful course.

      TCCC & Austere Medicine
             -- This course will cover the Tactical Combat Casualty Care curriculum through lecture and practical exercise. This has become the military's gold standard of Pre-Hospital Care over the last several years of ongoing combat operations. We will also address aspects of ongoing care (for when there is no hospital) such as wound management and alternative therapies. This is a three day course.
