Drills

# 03 Priority Fire
          - There are several variations that can be applied to this drill. What is key, is that you continue to change up, number of targets, different distances of each target, location of target. You can also add a new level to the drill by using graphic targets that depict a lessor vs greater weapon system (ie, guy with a pistol at 25 yds and guy with an RPG at 40 yds)

Rounds: 7
Target: IDPA or IPSC
Range: T1 to the front @ 5 yds, T2 slightly left or right of T1 @ 10 yds, T3 to the flank @ 20 yds

  • Three rds in weapon, holstered
  • Two mags of two rds each standing by
  • On buzzer, draw engage closest (or most critical) threat in A zone, reload
  • Engage second and third target based on "priority"

# 02 Modified Tri-Lambda
             - Credit to Kyle Lamb for the Drill, modified by myself

Rounds: 18
Target: IPSC, three, 18-24 inches apart
Range: 5-7 yds

  •      Three mags of six rds each
  •      Pistol loaded, from the holster
  •      From the buzzer, draw, fire two rds into the A zone on each target, reload, repeat, reload, repeat
  •      Looking for a sub 10sec time, all hits in A zone
